I'm Jamie, I'm Colleen's SAI friend in Missouri. We actually met at the end of the SAI Convention in '06 in Orlando, literally at the airport. We had a mutual friend, Jen Luby, and somehow we found each other at the airport going home and 'met'! :) I think I've only met Colleen 2x in person! In '06, and in '08 when she went to Vegas (I lived there at the time). :) Seriously, I find it hilarious, but we've had a great friendship ever since we met in Orlando. Thank the god's for social media! :)
I absolutely LOVE this idea of the virtual shower, since I, like many, are too far away to actually get to the physical shower. I actually thought about driving out there - it's only really a 14 hour drive or a short flight, but probably would be in trouble with my hubby if I did. So, here I am! :)
I know I am SOOOOOOOOOOO very excited for Colleen to have this little one. We all know how tough it's been, and I know most, if not all of us, hoped and prayed that her and Scott's dreams of a little one some day would come true. Though it took, well, what felt like F O R E V E R, it happened!!!!! So, let's all get excited for this new little girl coming into the world!!!!!!
